Regulator

Consumer loans in Texas are regulated by the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner (OCCC), 2601 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas 78705, (800) 538-1579, occc.texas.gov.

Listo Loans offers signature and installment loans, which fall under Chapter 342 of the Texas Finance Code. We are not a payday lender or a credit access business (CAB); CABs are covered by a different law, Chapter 393. The City of El Paso regulates payday and title lenders under City Code Chapter 5.17, which does not describe our loans.

License information

License information is available on request at either branch. You can also verify Texas lenders at occc.texas.gov.

Truth in Lending

Under the federal Truth in Lending Act, the annual percentage rate (APR), finance charge and payment schedule for your loan are disclosed to you before you sign. Please read them carefully and ask us anything that is unclear.

Military Lending Act

Covered active-duty service members and their dependents are subject to the Military Lending Act, with a 36% maximum military annual percentage rate (MAPR).

Equal credit opportunity

The federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, or age (provided the applicant has the capacity to enter into a binding contract); because all or part of the applicant's income derives from any public assistance program; or because the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act.

We are not a payday lender, an auto title lender or a credit access business (CAB).

Loan terms

Loan amounts range from $100 to $1,340 with repayment terms of 4 to 18 months, paid in scheduled installments. There is no balloon payment and no prepayment penalty; paying early can reduce the interest you pay. Loan amounts, rates, fees and terms may change and depend on your application, income, ability to pay and Texas law. Your exact terms are confirmed at application.

Our online application accepts requests from $100 up to $35,000. Larger requests are reviewed through our secure online form service; approval, amount and terms are not guaranteed and may differ from our branch signature loans.

Cost of credit

The Annual Percentage Rate (APR), finance charge, amount financed, total of payments and payment schedule for your loan are disclosed in writing under the federal Truth in Lending Act before you sign. Personal installment loans can be an expensive form of credit; please review your disclosures and loan agreement carefully and borrow only what you can repay on schedule. Late or missed payments may result in charges permitted by your loan agreement and Texas law.

Approval

Approval is not guaranteed. All applications are subject to review of your application, income, employment, identity and credit. Decision times such as "as little as 15 minutes" are estimates and are not a promise; funding depends on completing verification and signing your loan documents at the branch.

Our online application is processed through a secure third-party form service. Submitting it is a request to be contacted and does not create a loan. Information you submit is used to process your request as described in our Privacy Policy.

Identification

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering, federal law (USA PATRIOT Act) requires us to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. We will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other identifying information, and may ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

Military borrowers

Covered active-duty service members and their dependents are protected by the Military Lending Act, which limits the Military Annual Percentage Rate (MAPR) to 36% on covered consumer credit. Please tell us if you or your spouse are on active duty.
